Quick note before we begin week: I’m going to scale Stoic Brekkie back to 3-days a week instead of 5 (M, W, F). 50% of the audience wanted this, while the other 50% wanted daily. Since the latter will enjoy as much content as they can get, and the former is likely to get “Brekkie Exhaustion” and cease to get value out of daily editions if the daily routine continues, I’d like to keep as many people as happy as possible so I’m going three days a week instead of five. Thanks.

Most things improve without your interference
It is not events that disturb people, but their judgments about them.
There’s a reflex a lot of us have: see a problem, jump in, take control.
Sometimes that’s useful. Often, it’s just anxiety wearing a hero costume.
Stoicism asks a quieter question: Is this mine to fix? Not “Can I?” but “Should I?”
Many situations resolve on their own. People figure things out. Tension fades. Time does its thing.
When you rush in unnecessarily, you often add friction instead of removing it.
Restraint is a skill. So is letting life breathe.
Courage is a Virtue, but so is Temperance.
Stay hungry. Stay wise. Eat brekkie.
